After 25 years in financial services and close insight into the creative industries, I know first hand how the pace and demands of modern life can wear us down over time.
For me, it showed up as anxiety, overthinking, and a constant cycle of self doubt. I would over prepare, replay my performance in a negative light, and spend weekends worrying about the week ahead. The reality was that I was exhausting myself over things I couldn’t change and, because the brain doesn’t distinguish between imagination and reality, those thoughts felt just as real as lived experience. Over time, confidence faded, sleep became disrupted, and life began to feel like something I was getting through rather than enjoying.
That turning point led me to Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH). I trained with Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT), the UK’s leading provider of hypnotherapy education, and discovered an approach that is practical, gentle, and genuinely effective. What struck me most is how widely supportive SFH can be whether someone is dealing with stress, low mood, overthinking, past experiences that still feel present, or simply a sense of being stuck.
